Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data

Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information for service updates or marketing

purposes are:

→ Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you,

our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of

your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate

interests are:

  • We have a legitimate interest in maintaining relationships with people who have

previously contacted us about our services. If an enquiry does not result in a project,

we may contact the individual in the future if we believe a relevant service or

opportunity may be of interest to them. This helps us develop potential business

relationships while ensuring communications remain relevant and proportionate. We

only retain information for a limited period, periodically confirm whether

individuals wish to remain on our records for this purpose, and provide a simple way

to opt out of future communications at any time. We believe this has a minimal

impact on individuals\' privacy and does not override their rights or freedoms.

For more information on our use of legitimate interests as a lawful basis you can contact us using

the contact details set out above.

prospective and existing clients, and managing any queries, complaints or claims

efficiently and fairly. Processing this information enables us to understand project

requirements, provide accurate responses, maintain appropriate records of

correspondence, resolve issues where they arise, and improve the quality of our

services. We only collect information that is relevant and necessary for these

purposes, limit access to authorised personnel, and retain it only for as long as

needed. We believe this processing has a minimal impact on individuals\' privacy

and does not override their rights and freedoms, as it is reasonable for individuals to

expect us to use their information in this way when they contact us.
